Application forms are now available at the PBA office, and hopefuls have three weeks—from August 4 to 29—to submit their requirements and earn the right to be part of the draft proceedings on September 7.

Here’s what you’ll need to apply:
For local players:
- Two (2) pieces of 2x2 ID pictures
- Original copy of PSA birth certificate
- School records (if 19 years old)
- Completed application form
For Fil-foreign players:
- Valid Philippine passport
- School records (if 19 years old)
- Two (2) pieces of 2x2 ID pictures
- Completed application form
Applicants must submit their duly notarized forms and complete requirements at the PBA office in Libis, weekdays only, during the application period.
Now on its 40th year since institutionalizing the Rookie Draft in 1985, the PBA continues to pave the way for the league’s next generation of stars.
Who will be the next to follow in the footsteps of Justin Baltazar, Stephen Holt, Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, and Joshua Munzon—the first overall picks from the past four Rookie Drafts?
