EJ Laure signs with Nxled after leaving Chery Tiggo
EJ Laure has signed with Nxled for the ongoing 2024-25 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.
The Chameleons on Monday afternoon, November 25, welcomed the decorated outside spiker.
“We’re so thrilled to have you on board and can’t wait to see you light up this fresh start! We’re rooting for you on your return to the PVL court, EJ!” Nxled shared in a Facebook post.
The former captain of the University of Santo Tomas Golden Tigresses volleyball team is expected to be a key member, hoping to bolster Nxled’s young roster. The team is aiming to recover from losing their opening games against PLDT and ZUS Coffee under the direction of their new Italian head coach, Ettore Guidetti.
The 27-year-old Laure will be playing for a new team after eight years with the Chery Tiggo franchise, beginning with Foton in the now-defunct Philippine Superliga in 2016.
Laure will go against her old team, Chery Tiggo, in a much-anticipated encounter on Tuesday, November 26, at the Philsports Arena.
