In 2021, the San Fernando, Pampanga-native expanded her volleyball experience beyond collegiate league by joining Rebisco Philippines in the Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship, representing the country on the international stage.

Prior to that. She had already made her debut in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) back in 2018, suiting up for BaliPure-NU during the Reinforced Conference—a formative experience that hinted at her future professional success.

Lacsina’s decision to forgo her final year of UAAP eligibility made headlines when she signed with the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in 2022, officially transitioning to the professional ranks.

The club announced her addition ahead of the PVL Reinforced Conference, emphasizing her readiness to contribute immediately. At that time, Lacsina was 22 years old and already regarded as a high-impact player. Her signing marked a strategic move for F2 Logistics, who had opted to skip the prior Invitational Conference due to limited training time.

Her stint with the Cargo Movers proved fruitful, as the team secured a third-place finish in the PVL’s first All-Filipino Conference in 2023. Following the eventual disbandment of the F2 Logistics squad, Lacsina briefly joined Nxled Chameleons in 2024 before being traded to their sister team, the Akari Chargers, where she continued to assert her presence.

With Akari, she helped the team achieve a runner-up finish in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference and recently added another feather to her cap by contributing to the Chargers’ bronze-medal finish in the 2024-25 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

Outside of her professional accomplishments, Lacsina also garnered attention for her relationship with Deanna Wong, a former standout of the Ateneo Lady Eagles and a player for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans. Their relationship resonated with fans and added a personal dimension to Lacsina’s public profile.

Ivy Lacsina’s journey from collegiate champion to professional standout highlighted not just her athletic prowess, but also her commitment to growth and excellence in the sport. Her legacy with the NU Lady Bulldogs and continued success in the PVL cemented her status as a defining figure in a new era of Philippine volleyball.
